The words of the Preacher, the son of David, king in Jerusalem. Vanity of vanities, says the Preacher, vanity of vanities! All is vanity. What does man gain by all the toil at which he toils under the sun? - Ecclesiastes 1:1-3

Breath of Breath Breathe in.
Oxygen to the lungs, to the blood.
Heart beats, blood flows.
Take a step, turn a page.
Breathe out.
Breath is gone.
That same one, lost forever to the wind. Granted again?
The Father knows. Countless breaths, held in providential care.
He withholds, breath is gone.
To the dust.
To the grave.
If in Christ, to life!
Feel the frailty of your toil today. Pray this passage to the God who defines meaning and purpose.
A Prayer from Hebrews 13:20-21
Father,
You are the God of peace.
You show this clearly in Christ You raised our Lord Jesus from the grave.
